Welcome to Roots Edu Toys. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from our online store. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. About Us

2. Products and Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in South African Rands (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. Prices are confirmed at the time of checkout.

3. Orders

By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your cart. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. An order is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

4. Payment

We accept payments via Yoco, a trusted South African payment gateway. All payments are processed securely. We do not store your banking details.

5. Delivery

Delivery is handled by our shipping partners (Internet Express and MT Express) and costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. Typical shipping costs range from R60 to R120. Delivery time is approximately 2–4 working days. We also offer Pargo Click & Collect at selected pickup points nationwide.

6. Consumer Protection

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA") and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECTA") of South Africa. You have the right to cancel an order within 7 days of receiving the goods, subject to our Returns Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roots Edu Toys shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our website or products.

8. Force Majeure

Neither party will be responsible for any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions if prevented by an event beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, riots, natural disasters, pandemics, or changes to laws.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Roots Edu Toys and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

10. Disputes

Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through mediation in accordance with South African law. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) at www.cgso.org.za.
